I'm afraid I have neglected my blogging of late, it's just been so busy with little people of all sizes.
Little baby A was only one of the many children I photographed this winter who tugged at my heart strings.
(In my studio specifically designed for newborn sessions, here in Kinsale Co Cork)
I tend to fall in love a little with every child that walk, crawls or is carried through my doors :-)
I was having dinner one summer's evening when a little face squished up against the glass on the outside of the window I was sitting beside.
I immediately feel in love with the impish grin and freckles.
They came to my photography studio in Kinsale, Cork a while later and we had such a great time and as you can see they are both oozing personality.
Just the way I like it :-)
We made a guess at what colour ribbon to use in this maternity session and it turned out to have been the right choice :-)
Little Fionn arrived two days ago and I can't wait to get my hands on him.
His Mum is beautiful both inside and out.
And a bit of fun.
I am getting to know this family (I did this little one's older brother a couple of years ago) and they are so lovely.
Granny came too as this is the first granddaughter after several grandsons.
Remember that head of hair?
Well, a few weeks on and it only gets better. She is going to be some little beauty :-)
I have known this little girl's Mum since she was a teenager and managed to get my hands on Jessica for 5 minutes at a party.
I took her to a bedroom, took the duvet off the bed and photographed her on the floor as near to a large window as I could get her.
You gotta do what you gotta do :-)
Mr H and his beautiful parents came to the studio a couple of weeks ago.
They wouldn't let me keep him :-)
~ Happy Halloween ~
These guys crack me up, fun and creative.
At the end of their session they very kindly agreed to quickly pose in their Halloween outfits.
Before and after....... :-D
One of those times that an image just HAS to be in black and white.
This a long post but I felt I had to make you aware of the following:
It became apparent to me during this session that even Super Heroes have everyday struggles like the rest of us mortals.
How to keep your mask from slipping, how to stop the wind blowing your cape and where to put your sword when you're not using it.
The different looks on his little face, I wish I knew what he was thinking.
I love my job and with cuties like this little man it's not hard to see why.
Children of this age are more interested in exploring than having their photographs taken................so we just hung out together :-)
Sometimes a set of images call out to you for a different edit. These photos do just that. What a perfect model!
This little lady paid a visit to the studios a few weeks ago and she rocked her session! We got some clothing changes and different looks and she was a doll throughout.
Just a quick peek at this bundle of cuteness. Slept the whole time, bless him <3
I didn't expect my second Blog to be of a dog but I couldn't resist putting these up. We had Toby stay with us last week and I fell in love with him. In fairness he was really good at staying put while I photographed him......waiting for his treat! He was only there for 5 minutes but I think (as you can see from a couple of images) that the wait might have been a little too long for him.
I first met this little lady when she was three months old and before you know it she is celebrating her second birthday. We had a lovely morning playing in the garden before taking a well earned break for a little snack. What a sweetheart
