WHAT MAKES A GREAT PICTURE?
There are many aspects to getting those amazing final images on your wall. Hopefully, the following guidelines will be of benefit to you. Any questions you might have, please feel free to text, email or ring. Thank You.
WHAT TO WEAR
Clothing is a very important part of a successful photograph, so please keep it simple. Bring one or more outfits that are comfortable and fit well. Jeans and bare feet work a treat!
Families or larger groups should try to co-ordinate clothing in a simple way with perhaps different shades of the same colour. Please avoid clothing with big logos, busy patterns or large prints as they can be distracting in the finished photograph.
NEWBORNS
The newborn is best photographed in the first 2 weeks, preferably in the first 5-10 days as they are most sleepy then and easier to pose.
The simpler the photograph the more appealing, so for newborns less is best
I ask that parents undress baby (apart from the nappy), swaddle them and give them a big feed before I arrive.
Also that the room has a large source of natural light and is nice and warm before we start. Alternatively, if you do not mind bringing baby out, my studio can be used for the session. Please allow plenty of time for a newborn photo shoot as we may need to stop for feeding and nappy changes etc.
ORDERING
Orders are sent to be printed only after 50% payment has been made (or cheque payment cleared). Payments can be made in cash or cheque form only. Please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery of your products. Unfortunately I do not have the hard drive space needed to store images indefinitely therefore images from sessions with no orders made 60 days from the session date will be destroyed.
PRICING
Starter Package is €250
This includes my photography commissioned capturing time and my professional image editing. A set of thumbnail prints from which you choose your images. One mounted & framed 8”x12” and two mounted & framed 6”x8” prints, of your choosing.
Packages can then be built on, with a wide selection of products available to choose from. We offer canvas wraps, acrylic blocs, desktop products, floating framed images, albums and many more items. All these are on show at the studio and are well worth having a look.
